: what locker is good for a tracker/sidekick rear end

Im looking into gettin a locker for the rear end, i don't want to weld the gears so whats the best bet for a locker in the rear? and if you have one how does it perform? what price am i looking for

Are you against welding cause of the effect it has on the tire wear? Cause if your not the TT spool would be cool, fool...:)

I'm pretty sure that lock rite and ez-locker are the only one's available.

I forgot, if you have Bobzooki's bankroll you can go ARB's.

I just weld the rear diff on something that small. The lockers for those axle don't seem to be strong enough for any kind of reliable operation. Best of all welded only takes a couple bolts and some time with a welder.

the TT spool is only $99 and it is easy to install.

i'm runnign a lockright in mine....the make ARB's for the rear and front end of trackers also..

i've got a lockright in the back of mine. haven't noticed any uneven tyre wear, but it can be a pain to drive in tight spots (eg. carparks)

ok is there any pics as to how to weld up the rear diff? what bolts are u talkign about

You remove the side cover on the diff to expose the spider gears and wedge a couple of bolts in the gears and weld them in. The wedging of the gears makes it a whole lot stronger than if you didn't. I do believe I have some pics and will post them on my webshots page.
