I'm looking for ideas and suggestions from anyone who has done this conversion.
My latest project requires that I move the rear axle as far back as possible so I'm thinking .....1/4 eliptical.
Anybody out there have any good advice based on actual experience?

I would pm fj40m4. He did a real clean coil conversion. Yes, I know you were asking for 1/4 e info. Link placement is your biggest concern when setting up something like you are suggesting.

Unfortunately that pic doesn't really show me nothing.
I need to see some close-ups of the actual suspension.

Unfortunately when I was at the Cal-Rocs event I didn't know that I was going to build that type of suspension. Mine is a project that can go any number of different ways , it just depends on what parts I get to build the rig.

I would have to agree with Pig Pen - get a hold of fj40m4 (Ken) - I have heard good things about his set-up - I was under the impression it is a 4-link with coil-over, though. Sounds like you are getting creative - ie surplus funds from the kitchen remodel, huh?:beer: Cheers, Andy

No coil overs on Ken's rig yet..........I hear they are in the works though.
