friend of a friend is selling a trailer. Supposely about 16', dual mobile home axle with mobile home wheels still. Brakes not working on it, tool box, trailer is not flat deck but rather U haul style..with the 2 ramps and open in middle. Friend guessed he would be looking to get $200-$300, when I called guy he said $6-700 (yea right). Now Im not even sure it's worth the 2 or 3?

I would pay $200 for it without a doubt, and maybe $300 after seeing it's condition in person.

Fact is, a good frame and deck is WELL worth that kind of money, and you can if you want) buy standard trailer axles/brakes later and swap those out.

Thanks..thats sort of what I need to know. Did go pricing new trailers today...:eek: sticker shock!!!
