how wide is a dana 44 HP out of a ford? i need the WMS measurment?

1/2 ton? , 3/4 ton truck? or Bronco 78-79?

I just eyeballed the complete one I yanked out of a 78 Bronco yesterday, just missing the hubs but came with the radius arms and rear drop brackets for 70 bucks.

Eyeball wms to wms I get 64 inches.

it is a 1/2 ton

If its a Solid Axle out of 77-79, wont matter if its out of the pickup or the bronco.

Just measured mine today. I got a HP44 housing from a F250. I installed 5 lug outers and it measures up at 65" WMS to WMS.

Yes I was close but still wrong. Buddy of mine measured 3 of his and mine while I was at work and they all come out to 65", he used a construction square and all, then confirmed it on some website he knew of.
