I got a response from ABC news. A great response in fact.

I have edited the website because it was wrong. But here is what they sent me.

question = What happened to the "Children and Spirituality" segment?
You had a blurb about the story on your 'upcoming topics' header. Just
after the story ended on the network, EST, the header changed.

The Sept 9th show summary does not give any information about this
segment.

There are several posts on the GMA group questioning the whereabouts of
this amorphous story. What happened guys?

I'd like to see a link to the study.

Thank you for your request regarding the segment on "Good Morning
America" titled "Children And Religion New Study Suggests Emotional Benefits
Of Spirituality" which aired on September 9, 2003.

To read more about the report, go to the following website:
· Go down to the report called: Hardwired to Connect: The New
Scientific Case for Authoritative Communities by the Commission on Children at
Risk Sept 9, 2003

This segment included interviews with and information on:
· A major new study that says one in five American children are at risk of emotional problems or addiction. There is new scientific evidence that the answer may not lie in drugs, but in religion and community.
· Dr. Kathleen Kovner Kline, a child psychiatrist from Dartmouth
Medical School, the study's principal investigator. (not exactly a conservative Christian.)
· Bill Stanczykiewcicz, who is President and CEO of Indiana Youth
Institute.
