OK, before you are tempted to flame away, it's for a YJ that will never see off road use-( my other Jeep could drive over my house ) -the stock springs are flat, and I just want it to sit a little higher than stock. I know that Rough Country, Superlift, and RE all sell 1.5" lifts, that can be had for the same price as replacement stock springs. I've never used any of these companies springs. Any body have any of these?:usa: :usa:

O come awn... 1.5" im assuming its your daily driver~! right? Well fawk that get atleast a 3" - 4" SOA :D, Ive got a daily comm. which is a Chero with a 4.5" and 32's and soooo very tempted to start cutting the fenders, axles, etc.. hehehe :D

If it's strictly for road, and all you want to do is get the body up a little... consider a 2" body lift. cheaper than a suspension lift kit by a long shot.

ProCrap (ProComp) is not good.

I havent' heard anything bad about RE, they flex good too.

The other guys I don't know.

another option is just a 1" add-a-leaf and a .5" shackle lift. Guess it all depends on how much you want to spend. Keep in mind though, the more arch (stiffer) in the springs the sh!ttier the ride on pavement.

Honestly I think your best bet would be Tuff-country 2-2.5" springs, they are the softest out there and honestly if your gonna lift it might as well make it look a little better.....

God I can't beleive I just suported this type of post :(

BTW: Mines a Rough Country 4.5" And it rides pretty smooth.

Im with rockbuggy on this one.. who cares if you already have a beat wheelin rig.. build this one too. Mines my daily driver, and its gonna be undergoing a D44/8.8 swap with SOA on 2.5" springs and some 36" TSL radials.. or if I really get in the mood, 38x12.50 TSL bias.. Build it and they will come :)

If this is going to be your daily driver then you want the ride to improve so why not do a Shackle Reversal from Full Traction Suspension.

By reversing the shackles, the ride quality is smoothed out and that dreaded "bump steer" associated with lifted rigs can be significantly reduced and you gain 2" of lift with it.

Pros here are increased on-road handling, 2" of lift and NO WELDING.....completely BOLT ON KIT.

Here is a good write up by ROCKDOG......
