: Johnny Joints Front and Rear?(for shackle hangers)

do any/many people run JJs in the front and in the rear for Shackle hangers or is it more of a rear only type deal. my friend says if i do it all be all over the road. or even cuz steering issues???

oh yea and what i meant more specifically was are they used for the front axle for shackle hangers and for the rear axle for shackle hangers

im4yotas used johnny joint at his front shackles when he SASd his toyota. Had horrible death wobble that died when he got rid of the play the JJs allow.

IMO, run em in the rear if you really want em. Better yet, run them at the ends of the bars for a 4 link suspension. :D

i run them on the rear of my rig...............they seem to be fine....durable so far. i do get a sort of anoying clicking when the joint maxes out...but, overall i am happy with the performance in this allplication....................for now anyway ;)

youd have to run a panhard rod if you had JJ's on the front shackles, otherwise youd move your axle side to side some when steering....

i ran them in the rear and it took all the stress off the main leaf when twisted up.
