I don't care if this is a repost or not, it's worth a few repeat performances:

Now, if they drove it down I-5 that way, I'd be impressed. All that work to crash it a couple times? :rainbow:

Those guys are my friends that make those.
Some of them were on Tech TV not to long ago.
The guy demonstrating the remote control in the begining is also the guy in the Fall Guy Motorcyle stunt video.
Curtis the Guy that Produces the Desert people desert racing videos is one of the guys that built the car and edited this video just for fun.

They now have two cars with one more on the way.

We are planning some more fun with the cars.

These guys are always up to something .

They don't want to kill anyone:rolleyes:

Those guys actually used to jump and drive tha cars like that in first person.
Now that they are older and have girlfriends and wives and get frequent sex they have decided to play it safe and go remote control with some of the car stuff.

They have..

They got a disturbing the peace ticket for blowing up a car with 4 bags of acetylene.

Only reason they got caught was they were the only ones that didn't complain within a 6 mile radius :D

Yeah, like I'm actually wishing they had done that. yourself! :flipoff2:

If they had that car, they had to opportunity for some real carnage. Maybe it was a test run?

I'm thinking running into a rock at 100mph, or driving off a cliff, or a REAL jump, like at 100mph and 45 degree angle.

They found the best they could find in a very remote area with a wrecking yard within 10 miles.

The final jump the car made is not given justice on film.
I would not have jumed a car off of that if I was driving :D

HAHAHA 100mph crash.
find me a 100 dollar car that still does 100mph and I'll probably keep it and drive it.

It would be fun to make a track, and race like 3 or 4 fullsized RC cars against each other. I'd probably just try taking out the other racers though. :D

I think we might do something like that.

and we will put Jake behind the wheel of another car and see how he holds up:D

ETA terrorists in my country (Spain) have been making those for decades. They used to load a car with explosives and guide it to a police station.

Now only if it could find it's way over 300 miles of desert, autonomously. :)

Adam -- They did that on Junk Yard Wars a few years back. The teams did a remote control demo derby! :)

That's interesting. I used to work for a company that builds kits to convert military trucks to remote control. We didn't use any hydraulic actuators though. Servo motors and push-pull cables. Fun stuff.

That's pretty impressive, but my question would be "did they clean up any of that mess, car parts, computer pieces, etc?"
