seems warn has changed the snap ring that holds hub in place

I was sent 2 new hub assemblys as warranty items

I cant install them as the old snap ring is too wide

can anyone tell me what warn is now using?

I am hoping to source it local

is it just a regular inside snap ring?

What are the tiny little screws for? I had one in one of my hubs when I was rebuilding my axle after I bought it. The other hub didn't have it. But it wouldn't let the cuff engage onto the shaft, so I left them off when I reinstalled them. I haven't driven the axle yet, but they hubs seem to engage and disengage fine without the screw. Is it just a way to ship them without the cuff falling out? If that si the case, I assume that the previous owner just didn't take it out and probably never noticed since he never put it in 4wd.

it just stops the dog clutch from popping off when you take the dial off
