I'll probably get flamed for posting this on the Suzuki board, but....

I say keep the Jeep. IMO, It has more potential than the Tracker. Do a spring over on it and fit 33's comfortably. Add lockers and gears and you'll have axle trouble if you wheel hard, but there are upgraded axles on the market. I'll take a DANA 30 over IFS any day!

I'll agree, too. You could definitely build that YJ for A LOT cheaper than you could the Tracker. Think of the aftermarket parts available for a Jeep vs. a Tracker. And if you're gonna wheel it (why else would you ber on this board?), I wouldn't even consider the IFS. Just my $0.02. ~Steve

I'm a complete and total Suzuki zealot.

Keep the Jeep, or if you really want a Suzuki sell the Jeep and get a Sam.

IFS is not what you want in a 4x4 vehicle.

I was going to sell my Samurai and build a tracker/kick 4 door, but decided that the mods would cost to much to just make it wheel as good as my sammy now. I'm keeping the sammy!!! I suggest you coil the YJ and swap in some EFI and your good to go!!:smokin:

I'll be different, Get the Tracker, and if and when Sky's kit ever comes out ;) get some toy axles and you'll have a wild rig that'll fit 33-35's easy .. And unless its the 1.3, you'll have FI

I just figured that if he had to ask about trading a Jeep for a Tracker he probably wouldn't have the skills and/or mindset to do a solid axle swap. That is an assumption of course...maybe he does.
