Contact Offroad Designs at www.offroaddesign.com re their adapter to adapt your 203 front half (the gear reduction box, without the junky part with the chain and differential) to a GM NP205. The result will be EXACTLY the same length as your 203 but will have the choice of 2.01 low range (and 2WD low, great with an auto) and also 3.94. If you are going to find a NP205 anyways it's the way to go.

originally i was going to swap out the 203 entirely and use a 205. but if the 203/205 combo is the same size as a 203 might think about doing that. guess my next question is is this what they call a twin stick? something similar to a double atlas. and this set up will be ultra low geared for crawling? thanks for the info:)

Twin sticks means haveing 2 sticks controling the t case. One controls h or low range and the other controls 2wd 4 wd. I believe this is how it worked. There was an articale in 4wor a few months ago about doing it to a np205

I am buying the parts and the kit for the ORD Doubler for my FSJ. The twin stick will give you the same options previously mentioned as well as be ale to choose FWD or RWD! Being the all gear section of the NP203 and the all gear drive of the NP205... you CAN'T go wrong! Fawk bullets ... this thing is :nuke: proof!!!

Take some time out to really look at there website and then consider what you really wanna do. If you call over to ORD ... you will probably get a hold of Stephen. He is the top dog to talk to if he's handy. He is also like an octopus with a few "right hand" guys who are incredible as well. They will help you make the right decisions for your application.

Good Luck with your project!! TIGGER4X
