Hwy 76 east to I-15. I-15 north to Hesperia. Take the Bear Valley Rd.
exit and follow east til you meet Hwy 18. Turn right onto Hwy18 and follow east
to Lucerne Valley. Go straight through Lucerne Valley. You are now on Hwy247
heading towards Yucca Valley. Just as Hwy247 makes a 30* kink to the right
make a left turn onto Camp Rock Rd. Follow for appx. 4 miles to Granite Rd.
Turn right on Granite Rd and go appx. 2 miles and you're there.

Good to hear that Rob and gang is almost there. It will be good to see him again. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone and meeting others.

Work schedule changed a bit and it looks like I will be off tonight in a little bit. If I am able to sleep tonight I am going to make a light mount in the morning. The rig and all the tools are loaded. I will mount the lights in the dez. Going to do the beer and ice thing in the morning. Wife is going to finish the packing of the food in the morning. I will load my clothes and we should be on the road around 4 pm. See everyone there.

I made it to the sand dunes which are 3/4 to the lake bed in like 45min. granted this was on my ktm 620. there are some fun looking areas about 10min from camp at cougar buttes. a couple trails get too tight for a quad. lots of tight twisties.
