The mazda body is 22" narrower than Blazer was. The trails around here are very narrow so I had to do something. I found this body for 75$ and the engine just fits in the engine compartment. The radiator is going behind the cab with 2 16" electric fans. The fuel cell is going right behind it. I have most of the parts to convert to tuned port, just need the time and the tech help. Planning to exocage it when I get it goin. Built for extreme trail and some competition. Versitility is my goal. Don't need to conquer all just most. I want a drive it to the trail and be the baddest mo fo there. I already know I can out trail-ride just about any truck around here with this set up. They're all purpose built rigs. I'd rather just go out and have fun with my bros. See www.LRC4x4.com for info on our club, the little rock crawlers.

looks like a sweet plan to me. If it was my rig, only thing I'd change is I'd run a smaller but dual exhaust... just makes routing and tucking ip up nice and high easier. just my opinion.

Im gathering info now on swapping a s-10 cab only my K5. with a fullsize blazer, at some point you have to lose some weight/width... unless you're just rich as hell and can afford all the big time parts. If I had the $ for a nice 502, built th400, 2.5t rockwells etc etc then I'd be more interested in sticking with my K5 body... as it is, goin hybrid is where its at. :D
