Has anyone been able to build a bracket to run a CJ style Saginaw Power Steering pump in a post 91 YJ. The stock YJ pumps sucks.:mad3: I need to run my Hydro-boost brakes and a homemade rock ram.

Please help:cool:

H8monday did one, but he has a 5.0 under the hood, I would see about getting the brackets off of an older jeep and use them.

I did get a hold of a bracket to use a CJ saginaw pump, but in 91 when the YJ switched to the 4.0L HO the pump was also changed because it no longer fit due to the intake manifold. I was hoping someone did this on a post 91 yj and has pictures of a bracket or know someone who sells them.:rolleyes: :)

theres a guy down here in texas in the middle of it. he should have it done in the next month or 2. he has a bracket he will be selling for a saginaw pump on a 4.0. I can hook you up with him. he has put one on his wifes XJ and will be using my 97 4.0 in my 85 cj 7 to tailor the bracket in. I have no idea what he will be retailing them for..

What causes the interference? The pump or the res itself? Could the pump fit by itself without the 3" of res sitting on top of it? If so... you know you can get pump housings and remote res' for sag pumps

We tried to get the brackets from a CJ w/258 but they don't even come close to fitting. Even a saginaw with without a res wont fit. I am hoping someone has made a bracket to adapt a standard Saginaw into a post 90 YJ. Have to have the hydroboost and the rock ram. Right Kev...:smokin:
