Any real difference in the caliper design or fittings from a 81 K20? Also since I am doing to the rear disc with JB7 calipers( K20) and the normal D60 front calipers, should I go with a bigger BMC?

Anything to note about your install with the K30 MC? Or is it just straight forward, fittings, mounts, etc.... charlo 09-20-2003, 12:55 AM The k30 MC is designed for hydro assist brakes. For the most part it was a bolt on to my 85 k5. However my K5 uses a "stepbore" MC from the factory. The main "piston" or whatever it is called is 40MM(kinda big) then it steps down pretty small. I dont think the truck MCs are a stepbore so it may not fit in your vacuum booster. :confused: As for the fittings, I just bought extended stainless brake lines(flexible) and ran those to the distribution block.
