MRM4418 09-18-2003, 01:02 PM well my system has been getting slow, anyhow i'm trying to give it a little tune up. When i went to task manager it had 4 svchost.exe or whatever running at once (as seen in attachment) is that normal? All they do is create an environment for dlls to run as services. Yeah, the Nachi virus is a good example... but looking at the Task Manager isn't really going to get you anywhere there. MRM4418 09-18-2003, 10:25 PM ok now a few questions on overclocking. (FYI i'm running a gigabyte 7vaxp board, with Barton 2500+ XP processor). I've already adjusted the System bus to 174 with easytune (see picture), but i have to manually change the multiplier on the board. How much should i adjust the multiplier?
