hey, I am having a problem with my 95 YJ. Its a 4 banger auto. It starts fine, but if it sits for alittle it starts to run rough. Even when I am driving, it sometimes starts bucking. I was told that it was a fuel filter, but changed that and still happens. I had my EGR valve changed back in april. It seems like it has the same problems now. What causes a EGR vavle to go bad?
I ran a code test and got 12, which is "Battery power to PCM was disconnected". :confused: What in the hell is that? Anyone have any advise, cause i dont want to take it to the mechanic and get a new arsehole ripped. :mad3:

FYI My 94 YJ 2.5 still runs like a champ.

The 4.0's had a problem with the crank sensors going bad and causing a bucking problem. I've never messed with a 2.5 before, so you might want to see if it has a crank sensor. The code 12 means that the computer is in it's diagnostic mode.

I fixed my problem, it was just a vaccum tube that came undo, fixed that and it seems to run fine now. Thanks for the help. :jeep:
