im gonna run a th400 to twinstick d20 pass drop to a divorced ford np205 drive train for cheap dual cases , could i use the extra pass output on the d20 to rig up a pto winch since its twin stick ? i think it would be kinda cool and better than an electric winch

It would be way overkill for a PTO, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. The biggest problem I see would be adapting the driveshaft.

sounds like an interesting idea. Talk about a hell of a gear reduction... you'd be able to pull down a house, it would just take you a year to do it. Keep in mind that your winch will already have a reduction in it so you would be spinning very slowly, also think of the extra torque you will be putting through that winch as well, it might not be able to handle it.

to use the front output wouldnt it have to be twin sticked?

if you have dual cases , no it doesnt have to be twin sticked, just put the second case in neutral . but i think it would be cool to be able to just have power going to the one front output shaft on the d20
