I guess a better question is if anyone is using a manual valve body in their rig. newbies...

I was actually thinking about how this would work in a trail rig. essentially it would be like having a manual but with out the clutch pedal..

ART CARR. Home of a good shifter and as far as I know the only builder of manual valvebodies with compression braking. They don't have it nailed for the TH700, mine's one of the first and has some problems still to sort out. But I hear the TH400 version is nice.
Reverse manual is really nice. 1st next to neutral helps if you're going over, it's really quick to grab reverse and drive out of it. the manual feature is nice too, no matter what, it's in the gear you put it in. Not much call to start out in high gear ever, but starting in 2nd is nice sometimes.

I run a "manual valve body" in all my autos now.....They are awesome and will never go back to the "stock" set up again!! I love mine.....

I was scanning Jeg's site and found a manual valve body for, among othes, the 700R that's awfully tempting. Besides a compatable shifter, is there any trick to installing one? The B&M shifter I'm using now should still work with the reverse pattern, right?
