I'm thinking about putting a 300 in the toyota for front wheel drive only and have a few questions.

What side drop are they?
If drivers drop, are they easy to flip and were can I get the parts?
Aren't there Scout and Jeep 300's? What are the differences and is one better than the other?
Who makes a twin stick for it?
What's the going rate for a good used one?
Who sells a 4:1 kit for it?

I've already got the adapter lined up.

I can't wait to do front wheel drive burnouts :D

TIA...Steve

1. passanger side drop.
2. N/A
3. i think the scout ones have a diffrent spline count thab the jeeps, but i am not sure.
4. everyone makes shifters, most are about $120 plus the boot, but Quadratec sells one for $100 plus the boot.
5. i got mine for $50, but that was a steal :flipoff2:
6. teralow and low-max make 4:1 kits, not cheap, i think around $700 or $800

The scout D300 had a bolt-up pattern the same as the D20--they call it a "Texas" pattern for it's shape. There are several input splines out there, and some of them have longer rear outputs.
You prolly want to stick with the 82-86 Jeep D300's, most common.
