Please cut this green pea some slack... PLEASE!! I am running a 360 to an AMC TH400. I want to run the ORD Doubler with it. If I get an NP203 with 32 spline output will this bolt up to my AMC TH400?? Supposedly this NP203 has a Chevy adapter on it. I am a little puzzled on this. Wouldn't it bolt up to the TH400 seeing as how it came off of a TH400 even though it was a Chevy TH400?? I am beginning to babble and confuse myself even more. PLEASE HELP!! I have a purchase pending on this info!

I would count my splines and see had corect number. If not you can swap the chevy shaft into your case.

i would also look at overall length, you didn't give a whole lot of info about what you are running
do you have an extended wheel base
what t-case do you have now
the output shafts are the same spline count on most th400's
the lengths are different, and the 4wd version has an o ring on it
put more info up

For the ORD Doubler to bolt right up to my AMC TH400 I need a TH400 version of the NP203 & and a TH400 version of the NP205, only because I want the BIG BEEFY TH400 splines.

The NP203 I am supposed to be buying came off a Chevy TH400. So, my BIG :question: is... Will the Chevy NP203 adapter bolt right up to my AMC TH400 ???

what was the amc 400 bolted to start with
i have an amc 400 in my shed, i will look at the end of it tonight
i can not remember what the bolt pattern is on the 203
the spline count is the same on the shaft
if the 400 was bolted to the dana 20 it is the right length
if it was bolted to the qtrac it is not, can anyone post some info on the bolt pattern for the 203, i'll get the info tonight on the end of the amc 400

SMITROCK ... The AMC TH400 that I am picking up previously had the DANA20 bolted to it. And I still have all the goodies from that. The NP203 I am supposed to buy was bolted to an Chevy TH400 and supposedly has the adapter still on it!

alright i did you one better i went to shop today and looked at the end of a chevy th400 and my amc 400 they are the same
both have the same number 6, and location of holes
the output shaft is the same spline and length
