I was driving my dad home from the airport, and coming to an intersection where a flatbed transport truck was making a right turn, or at least trying to make a right turn sometime in the last 5 minutes.
Anyway, the driver is outside of the truck, and inspecting his rig, making me curious as to what was going on. It was busy, around 5:30 pm, and so i slowed down a little, not wanting to hold up traffic.

Well, the closer i got, the more of the truck i could see. And i could see at the rear axle of the trailer was something that wasn't supposed to be there...
A little red convertible BMW!!!
I started laughing my ass off at the woman driver standing on the sidewalk talking on her cell phone because it was obvious she had tried to sneak on the inside of the truck when he was making his wide right turn. :rolleyes:
Well, she paid the price, and her cute litle beemer was a little crumpled on the driver's side for her stupidity.
The best part was when i pointed it out to my dad, he said "Adam, you shouldn't laugh at other people's misfortune." Then he started laughing. :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

When i got to my place, i grabbed my digicam and made sure that i had an extra set of batteries in it for such an "emergency". :D

I've gotten to see that twice in my life. The first time I was still laughing when the cops showed up :D

I used to see that all the time two blocks away from my parent's place, 'cept that it was usually a left hand turn. Doesn't happen there anymore though, they completely changed that intersection.

well this is 2 blocks from my house and it is notiorus for semi truck-car wrecks. the inlet on the top right is a trailer park and there is always a home coming or goingm the course of the trucks turn is blue and where the wrecks are is red and it is basicaly drawn how it is

one of my dad's coworker's had that happen also. (Driver's for
Shell Oil Co)

the car had pulled into a 2-way turn lane almost, but way too
close to the truck's trailer. the trailer ran over the car completely,
and didn't roll..... (It was also loaded with 8800 gals onboard)

My dad asked Ralph the dirver of the truck, ""Gee Ralph, didn't
you even notice the car when the trailer ran over it-?"

Ralph said yeah, it was about like stepping on a Dixie cup.........
