A search did not reveal it, I swear we had a discussion on it and a "play by play"... I remember discussions about moving the spring mounts ect..
I thought it was JoeC, but not that I saw on the search??
Hark?
anyone remember and can shoot me a name/link?? Really just looking for the old thread right now....

I'm running a Dodge 44, in a nut shell you need to outboard the springs 1/2" on each side.

Finally, a question I can answer! I'm working on putting a Dodge 60 under my 79. Finally got my 44044's last week. Hmmm, foreward or backward offset? To RS or not to RS. What to use for frame bushings? I got some F-150 springs for the rear 14-bolt. I'm thinking short side offset, backwards, for better departure angle?? Back to hiding, under my rock........Pretty sure Harkinoff has got a Dodge 60, too.

I was basically looking for the perch width. I knew it was wider than GM, but couldn't remember how much.
The Bible says 1" more than GM (32.5 as opposed to 31.5)... and I was just looking for some confirmation (I thought it was more than that).
Might have a line on a set of Dodge D60's (, just what I need, MORE thing to spend my limited $$ on, and I was just set to stick with the HP 44 I'm building  ).
Just figuring what the over all width would be if I chopped the long side to work with my new (planned) perch locations...
Figuring with my new desired perch locations (about 30"), and the narrower Dodge housing, shortening just the long side would work out just about right....
thanks guys.
