: land cruiser springs

anyone ever use stock land cruiser springs on their sami? i have a set so cas just wondering......:D

Probably not worth the effort. LC springs are 3 inches wide, which makes for lots of fab work, and the things are so damn heavy that you would have to put 15 people in your sammy to get any flex at all.:rolleyes:

i second that... they are overkill, you wouldn't even flex out the mother-leaf with a sami...

and they don't flex well at all (by design) ... they are more like a hd spring setup

i was planning on putting a set of fj60 springs in my zook. they are some of the best quality springs i have ever seen. they flex great, even the rear ones off a wagon. but they are wider than just about everything else so you would have to fab everthing. but should be kick ass in a spoa rig. mike
