I just want to say thanks for all the help you guys offereed in this swap. It is now dne and o the road. Someone was asking about bib removal.

I didn't even think twice about taking the front bib of the 40. After taking the whole front end out of my 60 the 40 is really easy. There are only a few bolts, 4 I believe on each side. Then the hinge on the bottom. Total time of removal less than 1/2 hour and getting that motor tranny and t-case out was enough of a nightmare with the bib ot I can't even imagine trying with the bib on.

As for the swap I am very pleased. The truck runs great and seems stronger power wise. I don't regret theswap, on like most projects I drag Jim into this one was realativly quick and painless. Yes I still have a few loose ends to tie p but all in all the swap was done in about three full days of work. Feel free to shoot me any further questions. Tim

Hey Tim, are you guys gonna be going Pismo (provided it's still open) during New Years?
