Cv rear driveshaft, go to the main page and click on High Angle Driveline. Jess will fix you right up.

I had the same problem but i put some 4* shims in the rear and it completely stoped my vibration.

You shouldn't be having vibration problems with a 4 inch lift. If you had the drive shaft separated, you may have put it back out of phase. The joints on either end of the shaft are in a straight line. Check both pinion flange angles with a magnetic angle finder. If they are not the same (but opposite sign), then shim the spring perches so that the angles are within 1 degree. There are other more remote possibilities, like a bent or dinged driveshaft and bad pinion bearings.
In order to run a CV joint properly, the angle between the drive shaft and the 3rd member pinion shaft should be zero; they should be exactly in line. This means that you would have to rotate the rear pinion up considerably.

Had a similar situation recently, make sure the driveshaft bolts are tight. <IMG SRC="smilies/blush2.gif" border="0"> It happens.

i think the other guys are right! sounds like pinion angle problem or driveline out of phase to me.
should be an easy fix!

The same thing happened to me! I installed an OME suspension on my FJ62, and i haven't been able to get rid of the virbation for 2 years! I've been to toyota, and Six States Distributors, neither have an answer. Toyota says one thing and Six States says the opposite thing. I have been told it is not my driveshaft, ujoints, or tire balance. I think a custom driveshaft may be the only way. Also, shiming the axle only made it WORSE! Wish ya luck...
