I run 2" longer shackles in the back without a cross bar and never had a problem with iversion for over 3 years that I have had the S/O, but I have seen sprung under with lift springs invert.

If you have the right length springs, you should'nt have any problems with inverting shackles. But using anti invert shackles would'nt hurt. With a spring over I'd recomend using 5 or 6 inch long shackles to allow for full movement of the springs.
