me ad a buddy just tore apart an86 astro van and got the 4.3 out . when i set it in place inmy zook buggy thing, the exhaust manifolds set rght on top of the frame rails.damn. anyways, does anyone know what to use and where to get it?? got any pics? and will blockhuggers work if i find some?

Is this a stock frame? I used the stock manifolds, tight fit, but it works. Had to persuade the passenger side a bit :D but the exhaust does go down under the floor boards. Good Luck.

yes the frame is stock but the stockers will not even come close to working.

Not sure. Do you have any pics? MAybe the manifold is diferent than on the S10's. How far down in the frame are you setting it?:confused:

Check out this site for some 4.3L info <a href="http://www.tidesys.com">Jim's Jeep Rckrawl</a>. He's got a link to a company that makes "block hugger" headers (Sanderson). They aren't emissions legal but they should work. Jim is pretty cool about answering questions aswell. They aren't cheap but they sound sweet and give you some more power.
