You would think that Robert Smith would have a new hairstyle by now, wouldn't you? They're on Kilborne and he looks exactly the same. Those crazy goths just don't like change  :roxy:

They had some really good stuff, and some really bad stuff, and some stuff that I don't recognize (anything after Desintegration...). They served a purpose in the greater music scene, by bringing goth to the masses (in the same way that the Sex Pistols brought punk, and Depeche Mode brought electronica...)

I've always thought there is something wrong with a girl who doesn't know who The Cure is. The Cure is an awesome band overall not every song is great but then again not everyone of their songs are made to be loved by all. You can't deny their talent and influence on the music scene. If you say they suck then you've never been young sneaking in your girlfriend's room and making love to Cure songs so her parents won't hear you two going at it. I remember feelings of love and tenderness to such heights I've rarely been able to experience in any other circumstance. The Cure has the ability to do what music should do and thats envoke emotions or thoughts you may have never experienced without it. Flame all you want I love the Cure and if you don't thats fine. Then the Cure isn't for you but that doesn't mean they suck.

Like most bands 99% crap, 1% some really good stuff. Some talent there but I didnt like the "GOTH" image. Dudes should not EVER wear makeup for ANY reason (including 80's hair bands).

thanks a lot mel, because of this thread i decided to put all 19 cure songs that i have on my comp on loop and just listen to them over and over. well i got up to take a piss and while i was standing there I saw my mach 3 and said fawk it I will just off myself. So i spiked my hiar up and made it look all ratty and then dug into the wifes make up and put on some eyeshadow and powdered my face, then slit my wrists. when i came into the living room to show melissa what i had done she got all pissed cause I got blood on the white carpet. All I could do was just sit there with a pitifull look on my face and say, "show me, show me, show me how you do that trick, And ill stop the world and melt with you"

you suck

now I am gonna die, the internet is bad for you

it's The Cure.... not Britny Spears. They don't need to change their hairstyles every week to keep their fans interested and loyal in them.
