Amber Alert Issued for 14 Month Old Colorado Boy

The Lafayette, Colorado police issued the Amber Alert after the boy's father beat his custodial mother and threatened the child on Saturday morning the 27th.

Abducted in Lafayette Colorado on Saturday morning Sept. 27 at 9:30 a.m. He is a 14 month old male and was dressed in a red and white striped shirt and a diaper.

Police are looking for Jacob Dentler, 23 yrs., white with brown hair and hazel eyes, 6' 6", 250 pounds. Last seen wearing jeans and no shirt and driving a driving a green Ford F-250 or F-150 pickup with an extended cab and temporary plates. He has family in Iowa and may be headed there.

Threats were made and Jacob Dentler is considered dangerous.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lafayette CO PD at 303-665-5571 or dial 911.
