I recently moved to Arcata, CA and was wondering if there are any other cruiser guys near here.

It is near Eureka, CA. It is in far northern california on the coast.

I applied for a job there with WaterMark Sports and was wondering the same thing. How do you like it there? I hear it's nice, home of Humbolt State? My only fear of getting the job is having to deal with Ca. emissions.

The area is awsome. I really like it here. I am actually attending Humboldt State and it is great. So far I found on cruiser but it has since disapeared.

I'm from Eureka, and visit my folks there frequently.

We also host the McGrew Trail Ride, about 2 hrs North on 199.

Unfortunately, that area is pretty depressed now that they have curtailed so much fishing and logging. The economy sucks there.

good place to go to college, only place where you can be broke and still make a living.

You can hook up with Lost Coast 4x4s, they are pretty active in the area. You can also check out the Horse Mtn area atop the second pass on 299, hook a right, lots of exploring back there. And of course, the Trinity alps are close, I've hiked to virtually every lake up there (in my younger years).

There is also a small OHV play area at the end of the spit on Samoa.

Pay attention in class, get good grades, then get out of there.
