A couple of us flatlanders are going to be in CO for a week or so, starting Oct 11th - based near Vail/Avon.

Anybody up for some trail runnning ?

Nothing hard core, since one of the guys has a open diff RRC, but we were thinking of running Wheeler Lake, the trails around Red Cone and as much of Holy Cross as he could handle. Later in the week, we were going to try and get over to Moab, maybe stopping to play around at 21 Road on the way.

If we get snowed on, maybe we'll be in Moab earlier :D

I hope you get snowed on, we sure could use some moisture. Ya never know this time of year.

wish i could join you, but being sans wheelable truck right now is going to make that a bit hard .... definately watch the weather, though. its not uncommon to see snow on trails like Red Cone this time of year.

Really watch the weather way up high... You could be in for a cold night if mother nature desides to to spit on you...
