The boss just sent me down my budget for next year. Since things went so well this year (I went drasticaly over budget but... we also trained 80% more people that the prior year) the budget got a nice boost. I've got $22M to spend this year :D. Looks like it's time for some new equipment.:D :D :D

NYSE - DBD

Sept 02 - $32
Sept 03 - $51

Stock has almost doubled in the past 2 years. As far as stability goes we were established in 1859 so take it for what it's worth.

I work for an organic produce brokerage. We used to have somewhat of a hidden market, but now the big chains are catching on. Really starting to put a pinch in our profits.....or so they say. We also recently bought out another company in Oregon and purchased the building we are in. So really things are just stretched a little thin. We spent a lot money on new hardware last year too. I've been here about a year and week now!....bought house a few months ago and a newer Exploder. I'm walking the fine line right now. I think my job is secure into the forseeable future. However, 2 employees are moving, and they will not be replaced.

Personally I think this ship is sinking and there aren't enough life boats. I've got an eye on the classifieds, so hopefully something local will come up. I dred the commute. I did see that snohomish county has a pretty nice job listed in the everett herald.

Hey now.... a seperate division deals with the voting machine crap and I want nothing to do with it. The first "version" of the voting machines that we had (we bought the company that made them...that's how we got into the business) we crap but the new ones are pretty cool. I figured you would know all about Diebold since your one of those unfortunate Ohio folks.

You going to be around next week? I'm spending the week at the Holiday Inn off of 77 & Dressler. Wanna hook up for a beer?
