Just to let folks know, While Ivor and I are off-road-vehicle-less at the moment, the Tomcat's are being collected (in parts!) this weekend. If you've not looked at one, try here:

Ours are a little different, longer, and with different doors, but the same kinda thing.

did you see the white one in LRE a month ago, I think it is really slick how the body sits so low over the drivetrain, like in a hummer. Keeps COG low.
You have the panhard rear with radius arms or are you sticking with the A arm?

Have you though of an external 'wing' mounted seat for Ivor? :flipoff2:
Actually it looks pretty cool. What are you planning on for the drivetrain?

This years plan is to put in a pair of Rover 3.9's with autoboxes, 4.10 / arb / ashcroft shafts.
Sticking with the A frame on the rear. We discussed it at lenght. The advantage of the panhard rod setup is mainly for the speed guys, and it does'nt travel as much as the Aframe (by 1 or 2 inches I understand). It does have a big advantage in that you can make a fuel tank to sit between the frame rails where the Aframe was.
We've already looked at a pair of ex-tvr V8's......... <grin>
