how do you know you need a new pump?

Is it whining? Have you lost all brake pedal?

It can be taken apart, cleaned and reassembled quite sucessfully (I've done 2 now).

ditto - but I would also add that you likely need to replace the nitrogen charged hydraulic reservoir (the black round thingy up by the pump).

Those DO go bad and will work what's left of the pump to death.

There is a GM or Ford soleniod that will work for the ABS pump i've been trying to source that one for a few months, a local competior is keeping that one close it cost about 15$ US

Has any one ever use one?
