Prototype Cruiser Arm. They will be 1 1/2" thick (top to bottom) and 2" wide. I also intend to make the same style arm sticking out both the front and back for rear steer guys or some kind of tie rod. The one in the pic is only 1/2" because its easier to work with while I change stuff around.

Those look really good. Hard to tell from the pic, but how much material is left where the hole is drilled for the hiem. Probably is enough, but I can't tell from the pic. I do need a set for the front axle and a set for my rear steer axle, so put me on the list.

Thanks again for your work on these, its a big help for me

I'll measure the hole/wall thickness tomorrow. Keep in mind the finished arm will be 1 1/2" thick, and to tear that much steel to loose the bolt or Heim would be pretty scary:eek: I just popped a hole in it to get some semblance of fit/function. Are you going full hydro on your front?

Yeah I forgot about the thickness of the arms. I just tend to over build thing once and a while. I probably will add a double shear tab to capture the hiem anyway and prevent the twisting of the bolt.

I do plan to run full hydro front and rear. I got huge double ended rams from Station to move these things. :D

Weps,
Can you give some measurements on the arm in relation to the top or bottom surface (vertical location)? Maybe the distance from the bottom surface vertically to some other reference point (like the top surface of the stock arms - that would be really convenient). Also, the length of the arm (to the end/tre location) - I'd like to compare to the stock arm...

I'm thinking I might be able to use a set for my rear steer, but actually mount the tie rod *below* the arm so as to clear my frame :(. Who knows, I might not even have to move my ram mount on the axle :p .

Thanks dude.

Straight arm, single ended.http://pics.montypics.com/weps3/2003-10-06/1065493242_strait_mog_arm0001.jpg

I will taper the arms like the top PHOTO, these are just what I'm thinking of right now.
I can/will also do a double ended drop or...
a double ended straight.....
PM me for what you'd like.

:)

Ok, lemme take some measurements tonight, and I'll get back to you. Thanks!
