A couple of hours wasn't bad at all, but after about 4 hours of bouncing around, my ass got a little sore, but you can always put another layer of foam padding under the covers and I think that would have helped out a bunch. I don't think the plastic seats were any more uncomfotable than bouncing around in the stock seats in my jeep. It's just a fact . . . you're ass is going to hurt after awhile :D Actually, now that I think about it, as soon as the seats in my current jeep start to sag a little more, I think I'll replace them with Summit's. I find them comfortable ( I'm 6ft 190 lbs) but big guys might find them too narrow. Beard (http://www.beardseats.com) makes off-road racing seats that are big and squishy. Kinda like a lazy-boy for your truck.
