I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw an FJ-55 sitting in the toyota truck row of the local pic - n - pul. Still has doors, seats, hood, axles, steering and most of the motor. Carb is gone and so is the alternator bracket. It's in the Carson City Nevada pic n pul if anyone needs anything let me know I am heading back on Saturday to pillage another toy truck.

Damn...to have disposable income...*sigh*

Oh well, I guess I will just save up for that marlin box for the 55 muhehehehe

If theres a chance on a lower fender and some bumper corners(rear)- and any interior panels-or bench seats that arent shredded id be interested.

I will snag the digi cam from work and head up there later in the week and get some pics of everything.

if it is the same wrecking yard i am thinking of that is like 20 minutes outside of reno, it used to have 2 fj-55's and they have been there for a long time. I also found some 40 stuff there. He has TONS of four wheel drive stuff. Morgan and i went there to get a scout p/s box to rescue his pig from rubicon springs, like over a year ago.

No, that's a different yard north of Reno off 395. I think he still has one 55 left, but it's stripped. The Carson PNP one is news to me. I might have to check it out. Do you know what year it is?

I am not sure what year it is, but a buddy of mine was there yesterday and said that it had been gone over pretty good since Saturday. I will try and get some pics either today after work or tomorrow.

If anyone heads out there and happens to look at it, could you check for the OEM A/C parts(if it has it...) I need the center louvre assembly, that has the two chrome louvres and the roller switch...

I was out there Saturday and that truck has been gone over big time! The pulleys are gone, the rear end, the front hubs,Someone smashed the hood, and the grille, the rear quarter windows are gone, ......Maybe it would be easy to list what is left??

NOTHING!! The Motor is still there (Sort of) Motorcraft carb, Tranny, T-case, Front end (Minus hubs and steering arms)........

Sorry guys I could not believe how fast that thing got worked over out there. :(

I have a 1977 FJ55 that will going on the chopping block in a few months.
Runs great, looks bad
the lower 4 inches of body are rusted out all the way around
It's not up for sale yet so I'm not putting it in the 4 sale section
If there is a demand for the parts maybe I'll chop it up sooner
The interioris really nice, all complete/stock except for the parts that already rusted away. I also have a few body parts for spares that aren't that bad.
Almost forgot, the roof isn't rusted out!
