Pretty cool, first time I got a glance of it I immediately turned around and stopped to look. Alongside interstate 20 there's a large rock alongside the road that someone spray painted "WE'RE NOT SCARED!" on the side of it and put a tire with cement and a flagpole on top of it with a flag. Over the years that rock has always been covered and recovered in spray paint junk but since this was done it's been left alone. I also noticed the flag tattered one day, on my way back someone had put a new flag up.

With all the crap going on on this country it's still nice to see there is still respect for some things.

Yeah, you won't see that in many places at all because it's in Iowa.:flipoff2: How about giving it a compliment without making a blanket statement about an area you live so far away from?:flipoff2:

Cool pictures, man...looks like a lot of work and dedication went into that.:)

I've lived next to Berkeley ;) You wont see it there for starters cause there aint no rocks like that ;) And you have to admit that the city council ordering the fire dept to stop flying the flag bought shitloads of bad press ;)

I've seen that thing a few times. it's just off of I80 at the Greenfield exit by a quarry.

It used to have all kinds of graffiti painted on it but for over a year no one has touched it or someone does a good job of cleaning it up.
