I was wondering if anyone has found any write-ups on the web from the November Warn event in Las-Cruces. I am really looking for stuff on the Stock Mod. class.
Thanks
Brian

Hey, Brian you'll have to come out and play with us. We had some pretty good coverage for our first event, with even more media promising to cover the 2002 season series.

After running the Warn event, we are really thinking of doing another one. We would like to do another Stock Mod. class, but one with a little better rules than Bob's events. We are looking into UROC because it is closer to home. I will take a look at your page.

Thanks
Brian

How you got yours set up Brian E????

Very simple. We were limited to 2.5" wheelbase over stock so that is what I did. I run an uncut waggy 44 front with a mini spool, and a Scout II rear with a full spool. SOA with CJ rears in front, and waggy fronts in the rear. Bone stock 100,000 mile carbed 360, TF999, and a rotated D300, with a flat skid plate. I put in cutting brakes before the event, and they work perfect. We wouldn't have done as well in Las Cruces without them. I plated the whole body sides with 1/8" plate rolled around to the taillights, and the rockers are 3/16", all welded and filled. The body sides held up well even during the 360 roll. They added a little weight, but I can lay the Jeep onto a pointed rock and drive out without a dent. For the event I ran some borrowed and grooved 35" SX's with 4.5 lbs.
Thanks
