XtrmTJ 10-05-2003, 07:11 PM OK...'97 TJ, Rockkrawler 5.5 coils in Fr. and 4.0 coils in Rr. (sits leval now, front to rear) . Custon Fr.&Rr. arms, NO swaybars at all. RS9000's all around. Problem is, passenger side is about 2 inches lower then the drivers side? It is torque related, but I do not want to put the swaybars back on. Any sugestions on leveling her out ? TIA :D
BMRisko 10-05-2003, 07:27 PM Buy coils that don't suck.
XtrmTJ 10-05-2003, 07:29 PM Next....  :flipoff2:

I'll second that! My RK coils sagged also. One side way more than the other. My rear RK leafs really suck!
XtrmTJ 10-05-2003, 07:49 PM NOW ya tell me ?

sorry, you got what you got....:flipoff2:
crawlinTJ 10-05-2003, 08:17 PM I understand how the torque applied by the axle through control arms can because one side of the TJ to "tilt".....what I don't understand is how can it be torque related when there is no torque applied to the frame (i.e. parked, idle, etc).
I had the same issue with Superlift coils.
I ran the 4" Skyjacker coils for over a year with no sag, FYI.
XtrmTJ 10-05-2003, 08:50 PM Thanks...Thease are NEW...I just put them on today. One would think they wouldn't have sagged yet ? What about using that Curry Antirok ? Pros, Cons ?
CheapXJ 10-05-2003, 09:01 PM that still won't make up for shitty sagged coils
rough country junk is better than RK garbage.

I've personally seen a bunch of their stuff be fawked up out of the box. they'll keep sending you new stuff if you send it back but you may never get anything worth a damn...
XtrmTJ 10-06-2003, 06:53 AM Ouch ! :(
no exp with coils other than zapping myself :ouch:
flip them left to right every few months until they stop sagging (or until you're back to stock height)
Welby 10-06-2003, 01:19 PM Mine sits a little funny like that with RE 4.5" springs.... Yours is much worse because of no sway bars (How do you even drive like that? )... Throw your front swaybar back on and you'll notice a difference..
XtrmTJ 10-06-2003, 03:33 PM think a Currie Anti Rock would help?
Arya Ebrahimi 10-06-2003, 04:07 PM Obviously you want an anti-rock......
Will someone please tell him that an Anti-rock will help his problem so he can go spend the money?? :flipoff2:

Don't know if it would directly help w/ the shitty coils, but it would help w/ stability onroad. :flipoff2:
offroadjeep1 10-07-2003, 05:18 AM An Anti Rock will not help level your vehicle. It is too flexible to do this. It will, however, help on road with the sway that you are getting from no bar at all.

It'll help, but not w/ leveling. ;) I had the same passenger side tilting issue w/ my RE 5.5" coils, and now w/ my RE 4.5" coils. It's a TJ thing. :D As others have mentioned, try swapping left to right.

Kilby 10-07-2003, 01:51 PM I haven't seen a lifted TJ that didn't sag or tilt somewhere over time. But, right off the bat? Hmmmmm.... Warranty??
My answer, like everyone else's is get some better springs. (http://www.rubiconexpress.com/)
mikesimpson 10-07-2003, 03:01 PM Convert to leaf springs..:p
