Wiring up my v8. A friend of mine told me that there is only 1 hot wire that goes to the choke on my carb. Well i went home and went to wire it, and i saw that there is one male prong and another different looking prong that is next to it but just left of it. I just put a hot wire to the one on the right and left it at that. Did i wire it wrong? What do i need to do with that other male prong?

EDIT: Top...does the carb need to have a ground on it? tell me what the second prong towards the rear of the engine is for....

just make sure not to use the wire coming off of the coil. whichever wire in needs to be a constant source when the key is switched.

so is there only 1 hot wire going to the carb?
