My brother(XJ on 35's) and I were thinking of buying some weld-on beadlocks and wondering if they are worth the cash and how yall like them. I know that beadlocks are not DOT legal but i dont think it will be much of a problem around here as long we keep the bolts tight. Thanks guys!

Not speaking from personal experience - but I know of a few ppl that run them that are extremely happy with them. Just be sure that the rings are centered before you weld em on and that theres no holes in your welds for air to leak out of. Cops generally dont care that you have beadlocks - heck 99% of them dont even know what they are and the remaining 1% couldn't tell the diff. between real and simulated locks anyways.
Oh and before I forget: :flipoff2:

They are usually cheaper than a set of beadlocks if you already got the wheels and weld it yourself. Beadlocks=good. Simple as that. I have Allieds but If I had to choose a kit to buy I like how the Bobby Long ones have the part that keeps the ring from deflecting in towards the center.

Has anyone tried those weld on ones for stock cars from Speedway Motorsports? I know you have to cut the bead of the wheel in order to weld them on but that is no big deal, and they are 39.95 a wheel to get.

Treefrog go with 32 bolts instead of 16...much better.
