: flex greeley masher 10-06-2003, 10:19 PM i have a 91 yj, sprung over. i am running some shity leaf springs. i went to the rubicon last weekend and the springs were not giving me any flex. so my question is, what would be the best type of leaf spring for me to run. that would give me a lot of flex. Nylocs, or double nuts,:rolleyes: bgreen 10-08-2003, 09:29 PM If you dont tighten the nuts down until the shackle contacts the sleeve of the bushing, the bolt will fatigue and break. :rolleyes: Been there done that. If you want to do something, install a sleeve that is slightly longer than the bushing, to allow for less restriction. mikeswrangler 10-09-2003, 07:52 AM so what is not flexing... are the springs flexing good.. is the frame flexing at all? how much money do you have to spend on the flex ??? go to a 4 link set up in the rear.. and coil conversion for the front.. that will flex.. | |
