OK, while out junkyarding last weekend I came up with an idea. I searched the BB but haven't found any info on it. I'm not even sure if it's possible. So admitting up front that I haven't totally thought this out, I'll throw it out there. :D
Has anyone ever taken a Ford D60HP and swapped the tubes to make it a passenger side drop?
Besides the obvious tie rod in the back complications, what would the issues be?
:D

Only need to swap one tube. You just cut the long end down. Yea it's been done a bunch around here.... did you use search? :flipoff2:

Yes I tried the search but you can't search for "D60" or "HP" because they're too short. :flipoff2:
"The search term you specified (d60) is under the minimum word length (4) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer. "
It really sucks when you're trying to find Dana 60 info. I've been running into this problem a lot.
The search for "front HP D60 in ten easy steps" becomes "front easy steps". But it did bring it up. But who the fawk would know to search for "front easy steps" to find a D60 buildup? This particular one was done Michael in Austin. Pretty cool.
RustoleumWhite, Thanks :D

Here's the link if anyone else is interested in swapping tubes on a dana 60 high pinion/reverse cut. This will also now show up for dana 70 searches (go go gadget search monkey):
