is there a superduty website that is not strictly deisel? more specifically i am wanting to up the power on my 99 v10 5 spd f-350 dually 4x4. which exhaust is best? K&N system? computer chip? is there anyway to get rid of that crappy shift knob on the stick? this is my tow rig and i am having a hard time finding info. thanks

While it is mainly for diesel motors, the Ford-Diesel.com website has a forum specifically for the gas motored rigs. i have spent some time there and am looking for the same thing you are! I think i have decided to put the complete Banks kit on my 99' F250 V10. it comes complete with headers, exhaust, chip, etc... I think it is good for about 60+ Hp and somewhere around 80-90 Ft/lbs of torque. I would be curious to hear what others have to say!

cause a blown V-10 would be much more fun to drive :flipoff2: and if ya can afford that ya can probably afford to put gas in it:D

Super Chip is hands down the only way to go. K & N is good but the Airforce kit is a little nicer & more $ and I think 2 more hp than the K & N. Maybe someone will correct me on the hp.(I am not sure on the V-10)

MAINTANENCE COSTS

okay, so far i got the K&N kit and dual "Xlerator" exhaust. made a HUGE difference in power around town. MPG increased a bit, too soon to tell tho. sounds good and tows on the freeway alot better. as soon as i can talk my boss into buying premium gas for a 9mpg rig :) i will get the superchip.what gears do i need to run 35's on this rig? it has 3.73 gears now......and i have 285/??/16's on it.
