: chevy t-case?

i dont have much time so i only did a very quick search so excuse me if im just being dumb.

last night one of my buddies informed me that there is a chevy transfercase that bolts onto a rrc tranny. i told him i've heard no such thing but he insisted and is now going to find the article he read it in.

anyone heard of this at all?
aparently if what he says is correct then it can go 2-4wheel/ high-low
which would definately be nice.

This is a lame assed response to your question, but if that were true, then it would also be true that you could bolt a RRC transfercase up to a chevy tranny. This would be cool as hell and as far as I can tell the only way to do so is with a custon adapter.
Sure hope I am wrong ;)
