Hmmm, got a part number for those? or a link or something? Last week I tried a pair of PIAA LEDs(only 2 leds per bulb) in the cluster.....no brighter than before :( On my fj45 I did the cut the shield mod, but on the 82's clusters I'm not too excited about cutting them up, so looking for some kinda brighter bulb

the dash is essentially the same with an additional number... the cutting mod is simple.

I have one in the dome of my '62. Super bright, no problem seeing all the way back into the cargo area. I got sick and tired of replacing bulbs, I burned out 3 within the last year. First time I've ever spent $20 on a dome light bulb, but it should be the last!

The "fab work" for installation in a FJ60 or FJ62 is minimal - bend a few metal tabs with a pair of pliers, that's IT. It was a two minute install for my 62 dome light and five minutes for the cargo light. I recommend pulling the fuse first - it's easy to short the fixture and blow the fuse during the install. If it doesn't work the first time, it means you installed it backwards - just flip it around and it'll work.
