What is the best, cheap D60 spool??? Looking for good cheap traction. Can be full or mini spool. Just give me some links. I'd prefer to keep it under $200 if possible.

It is for the rear. If I go with the Lincoln, Miller, or Hobart method, should I swap out the carrier to an open first, since it currently has a Trak-Loc???

yes to do it right, you need to weld the side gears to the case, which doesn't wrok well with a LS rearend.
Also, why not make some extra money off selling the LS unit?

I have always welded mine but when i was changing my gears I was going to use a spool till the sales guy at randy's ring and pinon laughed at me for wanting to pay over twice as much for the spool that a new carrier would cost.so it is welded as I have always done before.Front or back it does not matter that is what twin sticks and line locks are for..:bounce2:
