This is probably a dumb questio but I gotta ask. Are Chevy Dana 44 Knuckles symmetrical. In other words I have several drives side knuckles but no pass side flattops. When I do hi steer I am gonna cut the old tie rod attachment points off anyway, so could I use a drivers side on the passenger side? Sorry but I don't have them here to check on so I had to see if anyone had tried it! later

I don't think you can do that, because the flat-tops are mirrors of each other, and if you put a d-side on the p-side, then the flat top would be backwards.

Could be wrong though.

Hmm, you might be able to make it work if you built a funky steering arm for the pass. side, because as JohnC said the flat top will be backwards, opposite of normal. You would also need to rig up a steering stop on the pass side. There might be a problem with caliper interference also. It would be much easier to spend the $25-$50 on a pass. flat top knuckle.

Yep, much easier to spend a few bucks and buy a p-side knuckle.

That figures, oh well it doesn't hurt to ask right? Are the studs in the flattop not spaced out equally? If they are I might try it anyway if I have some spare time later. Thanks guys!

No, the studs are not spaced equally.

Thanks Ben. I finally found the diagram of the studs. Looks pretty close, all I would have to do is ream the the holes out a little :) Later
